Training Overview: Participants will examine what is meant by Human Resource Strategy. During the last 15 years, the function and requirements of Human Resources Departments in organizations have been continually changing and evolving. Many have embraced the concept of ‘business partnering’ or even ‘business player’ as they strive to become more able to support the HR challenges that they face in an increasingly global market. The Human Resources function is more and more expected to operate both strategically and as a business in its own right. Businesses are placing increasing demands on the function to provide better, cheaper and faster solutions to increasingly complex business problems.

This will be an interactive session, drawing from experience and prompting the participants to engage in discussions and analysis of case studies and the readings (provided by the trainer) as well as role-play activities carried out during the training.
